Vitamin C is a wonderful defense against free radical damage and it can be found naturally in the body and skin. It’s also an important factor in collagen production which gives skin its elasticity.

Keeping up your Vitamin C levels will help boost your immune system and allow for faster wound healing, due to its effect of better collagen formation.

Fortunately, there’s a surprisingly long list of foods that contain high levels of Vitamin C: strawberries, oranges, lemons, grapefruit, guava, kiwi, blueberries, pineapples, papaya, cantaloupe, mangos, raspberries, blackberries, watermelon, tangerines, clementine’s, tomatoes, bell peppers, cabbage, broccoli, kale, mustard greens, turnip greens, spinach, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, sweet and white potatoes, sugar snap peas and kidney beans … so many delicious ways to include Vitamin C in your daily diet!
